Documents may be
primary sources of history or as a report of an event
written after that event, secondary sources of history.
They not only tell a story of the event they represent
but of the feeling and opinions of the times. Sometimes
we can understand an event, person or period more by the
presentation of the document then by the actual
information contained in it. |
